Hammad is the Founder and Curator of Sukhan (سخن), a digital platform that showcases inspiring stories of individuals working to transform narratives. The platform has garnered critical acclaim for its thought-provoking discussions and engaging content across various mediums, including web series, podcasts, documentaries, and public events.
Currently, Hammad serves as the Head of Content at Daftarkhwan, where he leads initiatives to create content addressing pressing social, cultural, and economic issues. His work aims to empower the ecosystem to find sustainable solutions to these challenges.
Previously, Hammad worked as the Manager of the Research and Publications team at the Punjab Healthcare Commission, a health regulatory body. In this role, he led several public health campaigns, with a particular focus on countering misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With extensive experience in content creation for digital platforms, Hammad has successfully built Mani's Cricket Myth and Over The Line, two highly engaging sports platforms. He also co-founded and served as the Lead Curator of My Voice Unheard, a project dedicated to highlighting inspiring yet overlooked stories from Pakistan.
Earlier in his career, Hammad served as the Project Manager for CFx Comics, where he spearheaded Pakistan's first Digital Graphic Novel Series. This innovative project addressed social issues through visual storytelling and gained international recognition, being featured by prominent press organizations such as AFP, AP, Yahoo, and BBC. Hammad led the coordination, public relations, and digital media advertising efforts for the series.
Additionally, Hammad has held the position of Director of Communications at Rabtt and was nominated for the US State Department's International Visitors Leadership Program in April 2014. His expertise in communication, content creation, and project management has enabled him to make a significant impact in the non-profit and public sectors.
Hammad is also a regular contributor to leading newspapers like The News and has previously contributed to major publications such as The Nation, Daily Times, and Friday Times.
